We hope everyone had a happy and safe summer! Here is the schedule for the return to shool.
Please note new times for Tuesday, September 7th
Frist day is Tuesday, Sepetember 7th.
Due to necessary Health and Safety training for all staff, we must adjust the Tuesday attendance time for our returning students.
All returning and new students from Grades 1 - 7 will attend on Tuesday, September 7th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
All new Kindergarten students will be attending on Tuesday, September 7th from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm and then will attend as per their Gradual Entry schedule.
Students return to their last year's classrooms and teacher. Students will line up at the exterior doors as they have did last year. Signs will be placed on the doors. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 am.
Parents dropping off their children are welcome to remain on the school grounds then take their children home for the day. As per the PHO/District guidelines we are unable to allow parents into the the building at this time.
Students who are new to the school from grade 1-7 are to report to the gym, the exterior door will be marked and open. Then they will be greeted by staff and placed in their temporary classes for the week.
During the first week of school, students remain with their last year's class and by the end of the week they will be placed into their new class configurations.
All new KINDERTGARTEN students will report to the school at 1:00 pm and be dismissed at 1:45 PM.Signs will be on the doors directing students
All new Kindergarten families have been emailed a gradual entry schedule that will be followed for the following two weeks, prior to placement into classes.
September 8th to September 10th ( Wednesday to Friday)
For students in grades 1 through 7
- Full day attendance 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM
- Kindergarten students follow their gradual entry schedules that were emailed to the families.
- Recess is 9:55 - 10:10 AM students need to bring a snack, peanut free!
- Lunch is 12:00 - 12:52 PM students need to bring a lunch. As we are unsure to the extent of the Public Health Guidlines to be in place in September, please make sure that your child has everything they need for the day when they arrive in the morning. This will eliminate disruptions during the day and increases the independence of our students.
